Privacy Notice

This notice covers the Shal’Artem Moment Maker campaign website, operated on behalf of Shal’Artem Nigeria, a brand of Shalina Healthcare (“we”). It explains what information the site collects when you create a Moment, vote, or browse.

• Display name — the name you choose to show on your Moment. It is shown publicly in the Hall of Fame, so use a nickname if you prefer.
• Moment text — the short description you write. Also public once your entry is published.
• Photos and videos — the media you upload and the branded Moment generated from it.
• Anonymous voting signals — a random voter identifier stored in a cookie on your device plus a hashed (one-way, unreadable) form of your IP address, used only to enforce the daily vote limit and detect vote manipulation. We do not link votes to your name.
• Analytics events — anonymous usage events (for example “creation started”, “vote completed”) used to understand how the campaign funnel performs.
• Advertising cookies — this site uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which sets cookies and sends your IP address, browser information and the pages you visit to Meta. We use it to measure how the campaign performs and to show campaign ads on Facebook and Instagram. You can control this through your Facebook ad preferences or your browser’s cookie settings.

• To create, display and rank your Moment in the Hall of Fame;
• To run the competition: entries, moderation, voting and winner selection;
• To keep voting fair (daily limits, abuse detection);
• To measure and improve the campaign experience;
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations that apply to a healthcare brand.

• Photos and videos: deleted 90 days after upload, except winning or featured entries kept for the campaign and post-campaign reporting.
• Entry records (name, moment text, vote counts): kept for the duration of the campaign and reasonable reporting afterwards.
• Voting and analytics data: anonymous, and kept only as long as needed for fair-play enforcement and campaign reporting.

After your Moment is in, we offer you the official Shal’Artem WhatsApp community. Joining is optional and is not required to enter or to win. If you do join, that happens inside WhatsApp, which is operated by WhatsApp LLC under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your phone number or WhatsApp profile from this website — we only record that the invite link was opened.

Published Moments (your display name, moment text and branded media) are public by design — anyone can view, vote for and share them, and they may be reposted on official campaign channels. Behind the scenes, data is processed by our hosting and storage providers acting on our instructions. We do not sell your personal information.

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, including removal of your Moment from the Hall of Fame at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
